About this Blog
Cosas de la Cuca empezó en 1995 cuando estaba en París. No era un blog entonces porque yo no tenía Internet ni había visto nunca un email. Sí, hace tanto tiempo. Tan vieja soy. En ese entonces empecé a titular ciertos escritos que contaban episodios de la vida cotidiana, inconsecuentes pero poéticos y un poco metafísicos a la vez, Cosas de la Cuca. Los escribía a mano, en pedazos de papel. No tenía computadora, ni mucho menos una máquina de escribir. Era una verdadera gitana entonces, no como ahora que lo que tengo no entra en dos camiones. Aquí escribiré nuevas Cosas de la Cuca, en español e inglés, y transcribiré algunas de esas piezas de museo, los escritos primitivos de este experimento.

Cuca's Things started in 1995 when I was in Paris. It was not a blog then because I didn't have Internet or email yet. Yes, I am that old. At that time, I started titling certain texts that chronicled inconsequential but poetic and metaphysical episodes of daily life, Cuca's Things. I use to write them by hand, on scraps of papers here and there. I didn't have a computer then, even less a typewriter. I was a real gypsy then, not like now that what I have doesn't fit into two trucks. Here I will write new Cuca's Things and transcribe and re-write in English some of the museum pieces, the primitive writings of this experiment.
